Ambassador Nour El Din Sati
A Sudanese diplomat who served as his country's ambassador to both Paris and Washington. He holds a PhD from Sorbonne University in 1974, the Saint Gregory Medal from the Vatican in 1996, and the Legion of Honor from the French Republic in 2018. He is an expert for international organizations in conflict resolution in African countries, and was a Woodrow Wilson Center Fellow in Washington (2009), a Global Fellow at the Center from 2013 to 2020, and the co-chair of the Sudan and South Sudan Group at the Center since 2009 until now. Sati has also served as Sudan's representative to UNESCO and as a UNESCO advisor for the culture of peace in Africa (2014-2015), an advisor to the Geneva Centre for Human Rights (2009-2014), and an advisor to the Mediation Initiative Centre (Helsinki, Finland) (2014-2020).

Chairman of the Board and Founder of the Egyptian Society for the Advancement of Community Participation concerned with issues of democracy and human rights 2002-2018. Member of the Board of the Euro-Mediterranean Civil Forum 2004-2016. Member of the Board of the Arab Network for Development since 2006-2018. Member of the Board of the Arab Network for Electoral Democracy since 2007-2018. Member and Founder of the Egyptian Social Democratic Center since 2005. Participant in the founding of the Egyptian Social Democratic Party in 2011. Member of the Board of the Euro-Mediterranean Women's Initiative between 2015-2018.
